All the Smoke: It’s All the Same Despite the Name

Youth use of tobacco products in any form is unsafe, regardless if their combustibles, electronic/vaping or smokeless. Their all the same, despite the name; however, many teens are becoming addicted to nicotine being disguised as harmless water vapor. In 2019, e-cigarettes were the most common and preferred tobacco product used by youth in the U.S.

Please join us in combating this current trend of nicotine use among teens and how to identify the signs of use, what’s being doing among pediatric practices, how teens can become involved, and how the use of e-cigarettes and other vaping products has increased calls to our poison control centers.
