The Junior League of Nashville (JLN), an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers, will host a Kids in the Kitchencommunity event on Saturday, February 16 from 10 a.m.-noon at St. Luke’s Community House.
Kids in the Kitchen is a free, family-friendly outing for kids, encouraging healthy foods and exercise by providing hands-on activities with our volunteers, local chefs and other local health professionals.
Families with children between Kindergarten and 5th grade are welcome to attend this free event. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required and can be completed here.
In an effort to facilitate positive change in our community and promote family health and nutrition, the Junior League of Nashville joined more than 225 other Junior Leagues across the country to host Kids in the Kitchen events throughout the year. The program was designed to create an impact in our community around the issues of childhood obesity and poor nutrition.
St. Luke’s Community House, Preschool Gym, is located at 5601 New York Ave, Nashville, TN 37209. Parking available on the New York Ave side of the building.
